The journey starts this weekend....

Morning all,

I'm sure like me, you probably stuffed yourself senseless with food yesterday.  Festive period sure does add a few pounds onto you.  Disappointed at the lack of quality films TV had to offer  though.  There's so many times I can watch "Santa Claus - The Movie". Anyway I digress.....

His Holiness Acharya 1008 Shree Koshalendraprasadji Maharaj will gracing the UK for a few days specifically to promote the Museum. So we will get to see Baapji as well learn more about the project and the utsav in March 2011. So much for a cold miserable winter.

Now as there's a range of literature and write ups on the details available on the web, I wont be going too much into detail about the Museum and the project itself. However it is worth noting that Mota Baapji has been acutely aware of the often tiring and exhausting experience a museum can be. Which is why He insisted on this museum giving a very stimulating and unique experience to the visitor. There will be relaxation points in between sections to ensure visitors can soak in the knowledge and history whilst being able to refresh themselves.

But there's more.  I’m sure you’re wondering, why is a blog on the museum called "Preservation Plus"?  Well as if the museum wasn't unique enough in its own right - at the insistence of both Shree Hari's 6th and 7th heirs - the museum will be incorporating a very eco and green initiative. Not only will Shree Hari's personal artefacts be preserved but Shree Hari's Earth will also be preserved too. It truly is a fantastic approach to take when undertaking a project of this nature.

More news on the museum will be updated on this blog right up to the event itself.
